The Evidence Group, Biase Chapter, has officially kicked off the Biase BOLD (Building Opportunities Through Learning and Digital Skills) initiative. The program opened with an orientation ceremony for 100 selected beneficiaries drawn from all eleven wards of the Biase Local Government Area, who are set to embark on a 12-week intensive digital skills training starting on Monday, November 2, 2026.

Speaking during the orientation, the Director-General and Chief Executive Officer of MEDA, Great Ogban, urged the participants to translate this opportunity into improved livelihoods by building independence and becoming responsible breadwinners for their families. He noted that the three-month program will also connect beneficiaries with 20 dedicated mentors and essential tools designed to fast-track their development.

Bassey Eyoma, Director-General of the Evidence Group, who represented the group’s initiator, Edem Bassey, emphasized the importance of commitment, charging the trainees to take the program seriously and maximize the resources provided.

Also in attendance was Hon. Edodi Eyong Edodi, the Biase Council chairman, and other key executives of the Evidence Group, including the Secretary of the Evidence Group, Prince Agbor; Head of the Women Directorate, Precious Bisong; and Head of the ICT Directorate, Great Ewelu.
