The event themed \”Addressing moral decay, ethics and values negligence as the root cause of educational deterioration: the parents, teachers and students in focus\” held at the Niger Delta University(NDU) main campus auditorium, Amassoma Bayelsa State.

The inaugurated members of the new Executive Council of NANS ZONE B took thier oaths of office on Wednesday the 6th of July 2022 with Comr. Tamarapreye Kings as the Cordinator of the Zone and the former NANS JCC Chairman Cross River state Axis Amb Icha Godswill Ogar as the Financial Secretary. The event had in attendance a host of notable personalities from various works of life. Notably among guests are those of the academia, politics and students’ unionism from across the entire states of the South South Zone. Some were; Comr. Jude imagwe, former NANS President and SSA to the past President of Nigeria, HE. Dr. Goodluck Jonathan on students and youth matters/complimentary speaker, Barrister Alabh George Turnah, Executive Assistant to the Bayelsa State Governor on social and public orientation, Hon. Akwaowo Clifford
SSA on student Akwa ibom state/convention Chairman.
Comr. Pedro Chibuzo Obi, SSA Students Delta State and Prof. Allen A. Agih DVC Administration Niger Delta University amongst others.
Speaking on behalf on the newly inaugurated exclecutives,Comr.Tamarapreye the cordinator thanked Nigerian students for given them their mandate and has assured students of the continuous struggle in prioritizing the welfare of Nigerian students.
The Financial Secretary, Amb. Icha Godswill while speaking, pointed out the need for a more cooperative working system that will ensure to close the gap between the students and their leaders. He also stated that the new executive will ensure transparent leadership while delivering on the mandate of students.
High point of the event featured issuance of certificate of return to the excos by the convention Chairman and presentation of hero\’s medal to leaders who stood firm in the fight to retain the prestigious Zone B in the South South.
