APC Top stakeholders of calabar municipality Took final decision over Asuquo Ekpenyong jnr.

Critical stakeholders of the All Progressive Forum (APC) in Calabar Municipality Local Government Area led by the Chairman of the Council, Hon. Efefiong Nta Eke assures Asuquo Ekpenyong Jnr. of victory in the forthcoming 2023 Senatorial elections.

The Chairman, Hon. Nta Eke expressed his confidence that Calabar municipality will produce 100% votes and when added with votes from other LGAs in Cross River  South will give Asuquo Ekpenyong Jnr. victory in the polls. He reiterated that Mr. Asuquo Ekpenyong Jnr. has contributed immensely to the growth of Calabar Municipality since he became the Chairman of the council and as Commissioner of Finance for the state, Asuquo has shown exemplary leadership.

Hon. Nta Eke enumerated Asuquo’s role in facilitating approval of funds for the development of projects in the Council. Asuquo also facilitated grants and loans for many youths and women. He added that such a personality is needed at the Red chambers to do more and bring dividends of democracy to Cross River south. Because of the leadership prowess of Asuquo Ekpenyong Jnr., the Chairman vowed to mobilize other stakeholders not in attendance to join hands together in ensuring Asuquo emerges as the next Senator representing Cross River South.

Critical stakeholders in the meeting took turns to testify of the good deeds and leadership acumen of Asuquo Ekpenyong Jnr., after which they all unanimously resolved to throw their weight behind the young vibrant leader.

Reacting to the remarks of the Chairman and other stakeholders, the frontline Cross River South Senatorial candidate of the APC, Mr. Asuquo Ekpenyong Jnr. said he is humbled by the show of love by the leaders of Calabar Municipality. “my primary objective is to represent the people of Cross River South effectively in the Red Chamber. I will not be a bench warmer but I will attract dividends that will aid to eradicate poverty, promote sustainable growth and development, and integrate the CR South. The empowerment of women and youths will be amongst my top priorities” Asuquo added. He also pledged to organize town hall meetings where he will interact with critical stakeholders and find solutions to the problems bedeviling the people.
