In preparedness for the coming 2027 presidential election, the National Coordinator of an APC support group, Hon. Bukie Okangbe has declared that with or without political appointment from the present administration, she will still vote for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027.
Hon. Bukie Okangbe who is the National Coordinator of National Progressives Hub made this declaration shortly after a “thank you” visit to the Minister of State, Trade and Investment Senator John Owan Enoh in his office in Abuja.
The visitation was in appreciation of the Minister’s support to the group towards the Progressive Business Clinic that was held on the 25th of March, 2025.
When approached by newsmen shortly after the visitation on her stand regarding the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu knowing fully well that some support group leaders are not comfortable with the lack of recognition support groups are getting from the present government, Hon. Bukie Okangbe was affirmative in her response, stating that nothing can stop the re-election of the president.
In her word, “I don’t know about you or any other person but as for me, appointment or no appointment, I will still work, canvass and vote for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027. The Renewed Hope mandate has come to stay and it will run till 2031. I am part of the machinery that brought this government to power and I’m ready to do the same come 2027.”
“I understand that a lot still needs to be done especially in area of support group recognition like you said but that shouldn’t stop us from working for the continuous growth of our party and I believe that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a complete party man who will surely address the concerns of support groups leaders in no distant time.”
Hon. Bukie Okangbe further charges Nigerians to continue to have faith in Mr. President and believe in his competence and capacity to fulfill all his electoral promises. She used the medium to also praise the president for many of his policies and reforms which are people-centered and have direct positive impacts on the lives many Nigerians.
