# AS Roma Reach Verbal Agreement to Sign Rodrigo Mora

AS Roma have reached a verbal agreement with FC Porto for the signing of highly-rated Portuguese youngster Rodrigo Mora, with the transfer now moving towards completion.

Roma have now reached an agreement with Porto on the structure of the deal, with a €25 million fixed fee agreed between the two clubs.

The transfer also includes a major future-related clause. Porto will retain a 50% sell-on clause, giving the Portuguese club the right to receive half of the proceeds from any future sale of Mora under the agreed conditions.

However, Roma have also negotiated a specific buy clause that would allow them to acquire 100% of the player’s rights, giving the Italian club an avenue to eventually secure full ownership of Mora.

Importantly, the paperwork is already progressing. The necessary documents have now been signed by FC Porto president André Villas-Boas, another key step towards officially completing the transfer.

Mora has emerged as one of Portugal’s most promising young talents, attracting significant attention with his technical quality, creativity and ability to operate in attacking positions.

The agreement represents a significant investment from Roma, who are prepared to make Mora part of their long-term sporting project. The Italian side will now work on completing the remaining formalities before the transfer can be officially announced.

With the agreement between Roma and Porto in place and documents already signed, the move is now at an advanced stage.
