The leadership of our great party made public the party’s decision regarding the flagbearer for Boki II State Constituency in the forthcoming elections, with Mr. John Otu emerging as the party’s choice.
This is undoubtedly a difficult moment for me and for the many supporters, friends, and stakeholders who believed in me and walked this journey from WAN-DYITYEM 1.0 in 2022 to WAN-DYITYEM 2.0 in 2026. Together, we built a movement driven by Fresh Hope, service, and a sincere desire to represent our people.
However, as a loyal and committed party man, I accept the decision of the leadership in good faith and with utmost respect. Consequently, my pursuit of the Boki II State Assembly seat on the platform of our great party comes to a close for now.
We didn’t lose the mission, we only adjusted the timing. Stand tall, my people. The future we want for Boki II is still ours to build side by side with our party and with Mr. John Otu the flagbearer. Together, we move forward.
Despite the outcome, this journey has been worthwhile. It gave me the opportunity to engage widely with elders, stakeholders, youths, women, and supporters across Boki II and beyond. I remain deeply grateful for the trust, encouragement, prayers, and solidarity you all showed me throughout this process. I do not take any of it for granted.
I also sincerely appreciate the stakeholders who spoke truthfully and courageously during our engagements. Their honesty, sincerity, and commitment to fairness are qualities I will always value and remember.
As a faithful member of the party, I wholeheartedly support the leadership’s decision. I congratulate Mr. John Otu on his emergence and assure him of my full support as we work together toward victory in the general elections.
For my part, BOGBO BINANG SYLVA continue by saying, he remain fully committed to the progress, unity, and development of our people. My dedication to the advancement of Boki II remains unwavering, not only in politics but in every effort that contributes to the growth and prosperity of our constituency.
To all my supporters and well-wishers, I say thank you for standing firmly with me throughout this journey. I urge everyone to keep faith with the party, and continue working together for the unity and progress of Boki II. The vision we started does not end here. We look forward with hope and determination to WAN-DYITYEM 3.0 when the time is right.
