Bournemouth Agree Deal to Sign Michele Di Gregorio From Juventus

Bournemouth have reached an agreement with Juventus to sign Italian goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio on an initial loan deal, with the Premier League club also securing an option to make the transfer permanent.

According to Sky, the agreement includes a €14 million buy option, but the clause is not mandatory. Bournemouth will therefore have the freedom to decide whether to sign Di Gregorio permanently at the end of his loan spell.

The 28-year-old goalkeeper is expected to travel to England this weekend as he prepares to complete his medical and finalize the remaining formalities of the transfer.

Di Gregorio has established himself as a highly regarded goalkeeper in Italian football. He made his name during his time with Monza, where his performances earned him recognition before Juventus moved to bring him to Turin.

The Italian international subsequently became part of Juventus’ goalkeeping setup, gaining valuable experience at one of Serie A’s biggest clubs.

For Bournemouth, the deal represents an opportunity to add an experienced goalkeeper without committing immediately to a permanent transfer. The €14 million option gives the club flexibility to assess Di Gregorio’s performances in the Premier League before deciding on his long-term future.

With his move now agreed in principle, Di Gregorio is set to begin a new chapter in England as Bournemouth continue preparations for the new campaign. His arrival is expected to strengthen the club’s goalkeeping department and provide increased competition for the starting position.

The transfer is now approaching its final stages, with Di Gregorio’s trip to England and medical expected to take place this weekend.
