I’ve been living at Hon. ETA Mbora’s house since 2021. And I’ve been paying my rent to the caretaker they put in charge of the property.
I have no contact with the landlord and I have never seen him since I moved here. He has never addressed us directly or visited this apartment, we\’ve only gotten information from him through the caretaker
On Saturday, Hon. ETA Mbora came here with thugs for the first time and they were banging on our doors and harassing the tenants here, asking us to move out from the apartment. So it turned out that the caretaker wasn’t sending the money to the landlord’s account. After much discussion the caretaker was arrested and we have not seen him since.
Yesterday I got served a 7 days quick notice from Hon. ETA Mbora, stating that I should vacate his house. Meanwhile my rent is due to expire December this year.
I made half of my payment to Hon. ETA mbora’s account and the rest to the caretaker’s account.
I have receipt of the 200k I paid.
they’ve been threatening everyone that lives here and we are all students.
