“The average Obanliku child is a poor child from a farming background. I know what parents from our area go through to fund their children, especially those in higher institutions. I went through that same process when l was in school and it was really difficult for me. Not as if we have too much but the little that God has put in my hands I decided to give back to society.

“If l had a capital base up to half of what Otedola has, all the 55 students would receive 1 million each”, he continued.

The Engr. Christian Awowoh Educational Foundation plans to extend the scholarship program to secondary school students in subsequent editions, covering all 10 wards of Obanliku. This initiative demonstrates his commitment to education and community development, inspiring hope and opportunity for the youth of Obanliku.

The students, overwhelmed with gratitude, collectively prayed for Engr. Awowoh\’s future endeavors, acknowledging the significant impact of his generosity on their academic pursuits.
