C’River Deputy Speaker, Sylvester Agabi Fosters Unity with Christmas Gifts

As part of the festive season’s traditions, Honorable Sylvester Agabi Jnr, Deputy Speaker of the Cross River State House of Assembly and representative of the Obudu State Constituency in the 10th Assembly, spread some cheer on Monday. He distributed hundreds of bags of rice and some cash to his constituents at his home, a kind gesture to celebrate the season with the people he serves.

Honorable Agabi Jr. expressed his heartfelt gratitude to his kinsmen, stating that he is eternally thankful for the compassion and support of his constituents. He was particularly thrilled with the impressive turnout of community members who benefited from the outreach program.

Honorable Sylvester Agabi Jnr emphasized that this season calls for sober reflection and gratitude to the Almighty God, whose grace has made it possible for everyone to witness the year’s end, despite the country’s economic hurdles.

Interacting with constituents, stakeholders, party members and fellow community members across political divides, the Deputy Speaker emphasized that the yuletide season embodies the values of love, sacrifice and service to humanity, as exemplified by the birth of Jesus Christ.

The Deputy Speaker took the opportunity to extol His Excellency, Senator Bassey Otu, for his dynamic leadership of the state. He noted that the future will reveal the impact of Governor Otu’s “People’s First” agenda, which prioritizes the needs and well-being of Cross Riverians.

Honorable Agabi who extended his warmest wishes to everyone for a prosperous New Year 2025, emphasized that the grain distribution is inclusive and benefiting all constituents regardless of party affiliations, as well as all residents of Obudu.
