The Cross River Entrepreneurship Development Center (CRSEDC) successfully held its orientation and maiden class session on Monday July 1st, 2024, at the CRSEDC conference hall. A total of 138 participants attended the event.

The CRSEDC Center Manager, Mr. Bassey Lawrence Ekpezu, welcomed the participants and emphasized the importance of consistent attendance for certification. The General Manager of MEDA, Mrs. Enwongo-Abasi Okon, addressed the participants, outlining their expectations and commitment of CRSEDC, the training modules, and the class schedule. She also stressed the importance of regular attendance.
The session commenced with a class on Mindset Re-orientation, facilitated by the Center Manager. This interactive session allowed participants to actively engage and ask questions. The participants were divided into groups and assigned to either morning or afternoon training sessions. The class was further categorized into basic and advanced/special classes.

Overall, the orientation was well-received by the participants, who expressed their appreciation for MEDA\’s efforts to revive the EDC. They appealed for the agency\’s support in areas such as mentorship, technical support, financing, markets, and access to government agencies.
