Borussia Dortmund Agree Loan Deal to Sign Ethan Nwaneri From Arsenal
Borussia Dortmund have reached an agreement with Arsenal to sign Ethan Nwaneri on a season-long loan, with the young midfielder now set to continue his development in Germany.
The agreement was reached after Nwaneri gave the green light to the move overnight. Dortmund accelerated their pursuit following the ACL injury suffered by Konstantelias, creating a need for additional attacking options.
Dortmund sources confirm that the German club will cover Nwaneri’s entire salary during the loan spell. Arsenal have now given their approval for the move, clearing the way for the transfer to progress.
Nwaneri, regarded as one of Arsenal’s brightest young talents, will now have the opportunity to gain valuable first-team experience in the Bundesliga and compete at a high level during the 2026/27 campaign.
