The Director General of the Cross River State Primary Healthcare Development Agency, Dr Janet Ekpenyong has sent strong words of appreciation to the selfless and dedicated team of health workers in the state on the occasion of workers day, describing them as pillars to which health safety rest on.

Dr Ekpenyong in an appreciation message she signed and made public to the press noted that, the Cross River State team of health workers have remained productive and improving in the daily discharge of their duties stating that, they are Selected breeds of unbias and carefully selected workers who places great value for life.

She noted that, by extension to their duties, workers in the state Primary Healthcare Agency and the entire health sector have maintained professionalism and shown mentorship qualities which has promoted their profession and boost confidence in the minds of Citizens towards the patronage of Primary Healthcare facilities and secondary facilities in their locality.
