The Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs Dr. Mrs. Helen Isamoh Egodo received in her office, Dynamic Biase Women in Politics (DBW).

In an opening speech, the Vice President Mrs Benita Edwin Usang, who led the delegation, thanked the Honourable Commissioner for the warm reception despite her busy schedule.
Dr. Florence Unoh Odidi led a scriptural session using the Rhapsody of reality as a tool to facilitate the session (1 Timothy 2:2). She explained the biblical verse and referred to it as a template for encouraging the members of her group as well as the citizens of Cross River State to obey the scriptures and be reliant on them in always praying for their leaders.
Dr. Florence Odidi assured the Honourable Commissioner to always count on the women of Biase, adding that all Biase women are solidly behind her and that they are all qualified and ready to take on the tasks in which Commissioner *Egodo* would involve them.
Dr. Florence Unoh, called on one of the group member, Hon. Mary George Ojah, to make an official presentation to the Honourable Commissioner. Mrs. Mary George presented the Commissioner with a letter of invitation to an event that is planned to honor her as the Matron of the organization.
Mrs. Mary George acknowledged the Commissioner for all her dedication towards women and the love she has for Biase people as a whole. She expressed the hope that the Commissioner would accept the honor presented to her as a Matron of Dynamic Biase Women in Politics. The group then presented a commemorative portrait to the Honourable Commissioner.

The Honourable Commissioner expressed appreciation for the honor done her and the love the women have shown, particularly the Dynamic Biase Women in Politics, who have distinguished themselves in several ways. She told the women that their gesture would not be taken for granted.
The Commissioner assured the women that the days of oppression by any form of gender discrimination have long gone. She stated that:
\”Women are out, and will be heard far and wide. What women need to do is be strong and courageous at all times despite the gender-related challenges they face in the society. My support is firm for Dynamic Biase Women in Politics, and I humbly accept your nomination as your grand Matron.\”
The visitation had the presence of the follwing members; Mrs. Benita Edwin Usang-Vice President, Hon. Mary George Ojah-Secretary, Bessie Abara Enun-Treasurer, Dr. Florence Unoh Odidi-PRO/ Publicity, Mrs. Louisa Obungh Unoh-Financial Secretary, Mrs. Dorathy Ogbo Bassey-Legal Adviser/ Security, and Mrs Adiaha Ofem Ewum as member.
