In a gesture of his commitment to recognizing and celebrating excellence, an elder statesman and prominent stakeholder of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Cross River State, Mr. James Alicha Okpamu, has extended heartfelt congratulations to three illustrious sons of the state on their recent appointments to key positions in both state and federal capacities.

Mr. Alicha commended the appointments of Hon. Hilliard ETTA, as Chairman of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Ministry of Youth Development; Barr. Ntufam Fidelis Ugbo, as Pro-Chancellor of the University of Cross River State (UNICROSS); and Chief Wabilly Nyiam, as Chairman of the Cross River State Basin Development Authority Board (covering Cross River and Akwa Ibom states), describing the appointments as well-deserved recognition of their exceptional service, competence, and dedication to public good.

He lauded the vision and foresight of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Bassey Edet Otu for identifying and appointing individuals with proven track records of excellence, emphasizing that these appointments not only recognize the appointees’ accomplishments but also reflect the commitment of both federal and state governments to harnessing the potential of Cross River’s finest.

“This is a proud moment for Cross River State. The appointments of Hon. Hilliard ETTA, Barr. Ntufam Fidelis Ugbo, and Chief Wabilly Nyiam are well-deserved and a reflection of their competence and dedication to service.
