Emmanuel Elom Empowers Farmers In Mbube East

The Chairman of the Cross River State Sports Commission, Honorable Emmanuel Elom yesterday, played host to over five hundred (500) farmers in his Mbube East Ward I.

In an Event that later turned into an unplanned rally to sensitize eligible Electorates of the voting age 18 years and above across the Ward to avail themselves the opportunity to register and participate in the 2023 general elections and beyond, the Sports Commission Chair distributed herbicides, cutlasses and cash sums to each of the 13 polling units across the Ward.

During the sensitization, Hon. Emmanuel Elom encouraged the good people of Mbube East 1 to register as members of the All Progressives Congress (APC), to enable them participate in mainstream politics by ensuring they vote for the APC in all future Elections in 2023.

The excited beneficiaries took turns to show appreciation to the Sports Commission Chairman\’s Emmanuel Elom for his kind gesture for demonstrating leadership by example, noting that the herbicides which has over the years become the major substitute to direct manual grass weeding in their farms, will go a long way to assist during this grass spraying season.

Present to witness the occasion were the Councilor representing MBUBE EAST WARD 1, Hon. Clement Ategu Oti, Ward Chairman of the APC, Mr. Samuel Ade Obi, teeming members of the APC, supporters, friends and beneficiaries across party lines.
