Rt Hon Eteng Jonah Williams 2023: Boki, Etung, Ikom delegates, and stakeholders declare total support for Williams Senatorial Aspiration
Chapter Chairmen, Ward Chairmen, delegates, stakeholders, and leaders of the All Progressive Congress, APC in Boki, Etung, and Ikom Local Government Areas, Cross River State, Saturday, openly declared total support for the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Eteng Jonah Williams, and assured him of their votes at the forthcoming senatorial primary election of the party.
Chairmen of APC in Boki, Ikom, and Etung Local Government Areas, respectively made this affirmation without fear in support of the Speaker.
In their separate remarks, they said they were united behind Rt. Hon. Eteng Jonah Williams.
Adding that Cross River State house of assembly is settled because of you, the good Speaker, we would seal our affirmation with our votes.
Rt. Hon. Hillary Bisong, a member representing Boki II said “This is God’s project because Mr. Speaker is good. I am calling on my Elders, Leaders, and Stakeholders to do the needful and I am assuring you Mr. The speaker that in Boki, we do not move in a divided way.
\”Just as the party has spoken, we would deliver you, you\’re a sellable candidate and we believe you will not fail us.
In his address, a member representing Ikom Hon. Elvert noted that the Ikom people have made up their minds to support you and we will deliver you at the primary.
Hon. Chris Njar on his part said; “We are very happy that you are here with us today. Etung people speak one language and we are not divided, since the government has given a directive, we must obey and deliver you at the primary. You are going to have our massive votes.
\” As you get to the red chamber as a ranking Senator, we are sure of Chairman of Committee, that would take care of needs and demand of your people.
The Speaker who was in Boki, Etung, and Ikom Local Government Areas for consultation visits ahead of the forthcoming primaries of the Party declared that he is fully in the race.
Addressing the people at the various Local Government Areas, Rt. Hon. Eteng Jonah Williams said he is fully in the Senatorial race, appealing to the Chapter Chairmen, Wards Chairmen, and delegates to vote for him during the primary election, assuring that he would not disappoint them if given the ticket and elected as a Senator representing Central Senatorial District at the Red Chamber.
He concluded that \”I am here to formally inform you people and to solicit for your support and votes at the primaries, I have the experience and together, we would move to the Senate.
