FRSC APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
Before you start your application process, it is advisable that you go through the following requirements list to know what you will need to complete your application successfully:
RMA CADRE
- a. Road Marshal Assistant II
- Qualifications Applicants must possess minimum of 5 credits in SSCE/GCE (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB) which must include English Language and Mathematics
- b. Road Marshal Assistant III
- Qualifications Minimum of three (3) credits in SSCE (WAEC/NECO) or NABTEB, one of the credits must be in English Language.
- c. Artisans and Tradesmen
- Artisans and Tradesmen may apply under this category. Those applying for the posts of Computer Operators, Drivers, Mechanics, Motorcycle Riders, Electricians, Instrumentalists, Tailors, Plumbers, etc must possess the following:
- i. A minimum of 4 passes in SSCE (WAEC/NECO) or NABTEB.
- ii. Trade Test and or other professional Certificates.
- iii. Drivers and Riders must have the appropriate class of Driver’s Licence.
- d. Drivers and Riders
- i. Drivers and Riders MUST have appropriate class of valid National Driver’s License
- ii. Trade Test and or other professional Certificates.
- iii. Attempted SSCE/GCE (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB)
MI CADRE
- a. Marshal Inspector IQualifications
Candidates must possess the following:
Double Qualifications RN & RM, Accident & Emergency Nurses, Pediatric Nurses, Anesthetic Nurses, Orthopedic Nurses, Radiographers from recognized institutions - b. Marshal Inspector IIQualifications
Candidates must possess the following:- i. Nigerian Certificate of Education (NCE) in relevant disciplines.
- ii. Registered Nurse/Midwife (RN/RM).
- iii. Statement of Result not beyond 5years.
- c. Marshal Inspector IIIQualifications
Applicants must possess the following from recognized Institutions:- i. National Diploma (ND)
- ii. Senior Community Health Extension Workers Certificate (CHEW),
- iii. Medical Laboratory Technicians
- iv. Pharmacy Technicians
- v. Dental Technicians
OFFICER CADRE
Qualification:
Applicants must possess a first Degree/HND from recognized Institutions of learning and NYSC Discharge Certificate/Exemption Certificate.
OFFICER MBBCH CADRE.
Qualification:
Candidates must possess the following:
- i. Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized institution of higher learning in Medicine
- ii. NYSC Discharge Certificate.

FRSC Salary Structure 2023
While it was difficult to determine the exact sum of money that a Federal Road Safety Corp officer receives as a monthly or annual salary, it was stated in an online study that the monthly salary of FRSC Officers was increased due to the increment of the minimum wage.
These are the current salaries per year of FRSC officers in Nigeria this 2023:
- Chief Inspector (CI) – ₦1,405,449
- Deputy Chief Inspector (DCI) – ₦1,325,234
- Assistant Chief Inspector (ACI) – ₦1,252,038
- Principal Marshal Inspector (PMI) – ₦1,143,539
- Senior Marshal Inspector (SMI) – ₦1,058,416
- Marshal Inspector I (MI-I) – ₦777,876
- Marshal Inspector II (MI-II) – ₦548,387
- Marshal Inspector III (MI-III) – ₦393,442
- Chief Road Marshal Assistant (CRMA) – ₦966,761
- Deputy Road Marshal Assistant (DRMA) – ₦539,048
- Senior Road Marshal Assistant (SRMA) – ₦387,428
- Road Marshal Assistant I (RMA I) – ₦349,589

Also, the following are the salary ranges for every entry-level/entry-point rank of the Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC with the required academic qualifications:
