Governor Otu message at the APC stakeholders meeting.

The APC stakeholders meeting cross-river state was held at the Calabar International Conference Center (CICC on March 2, 2024.
In attendance were known state party members, from the top stakeholders to newly joined members.

The event welcomed speeches from different political leaders in the state. A lot was discussed, involving questions and inquiries as well as the way forward on certain issues in the state.

The governor of Cross River State, Sen. Prince Bassey Otu, officially announced plans and activities that are already ongoing in the state and will be accomplished soon.

Below is the governor\’s message from the just concluded APC cross-river state stakeholders meeting.

1 Expansion of government will come immediately but not all will be privileged to benefit
2 Cleanliness of the state capital has been restored
3 Renovation of governor Nd deputy Governor\’s lodge ongoing
4 Before the the year runs out ugep Nd ogaja will become urban centres
5 Department of medicine to be introduced in our state university
6 land has been acquired for the planting of cocoa Nd palm
7 Establishment of college of forestry obubra to commence in October
8 small holders cocoa scheme to be introduced in Akamkpa
9 IGR in the state has increased to 31 billion from 22 billion
10 Tinapa has been taken back by the state
11 Akamkpa rubber estate has been taken back
12 Dansa farms in oban has been bought back by the state
13. Plans on the way to restore cross River as oil processing state. Drilling to start in three weeks
14. Obudu airport to be completed soon
15. Five more aircraft to be added to cally air
16. Obudu cattle ranch has been restored back
17. Calabar ITU road construction to commence from Calabar soon
18. NNPC to invest in Akamkpa
19. Appointments will not be free of charge
