Hon Solomon Ika Inaugurates Campaign Team, Rolls Out His Manifesto For Crshoa 2023
Ahead of the 2023 general elections, HON. SOLOMON ETIM IKA (aka Boy O Boy), a Frontline aspirant to the Cross River State House of Assembly, Calabar municipality constituency,had on Sunday, the 6th day of March, 2022 inaugurated his Campaign organization, tagging same ‘Abasi Akara 2023\’ (Divine Mandate) for his aspiration to become the next Member Representing Calabar Municipality state constituency.
He stated in the course of his declaration that the team is made up of men and women of goodwill, who are committed and ready to steer the campaign committee towards victory for the people of Calabar Municipality.
Anchoring the Inauguration, Mr. Asuquo Solomon, a political stalk-ward charged the committee to drive the campaign team with passion and prayers while believing in God who gives power and electoral victory. He also charged the team to take his manifesto which is people friendly and oriented to the grassroots and engage constituents on the need to join the train.
The campaign organization has Hon Prince Archibong Effiong Etim as the Director General, Hon Akabom Eyo as Secretary, Barr. Daniel Bassey as the Chairman of the campaign committee, Wards Excos, Past councilors and Present councilors as members, past and present party officials as members.
Giving his acceptance speech, the Director General of the Campaign unequivocally stated that “I fully accept the responsibility of becoming the DG, we are the winning team and I can see men and women of goodwill here who are joining me to ensure by the Grace of God, Hon Solomon Ika (Boy o Boy) emerged victoriously.
Hon. Solomon Ika is not a bad product, I don’t jump in to support people anyhow, I have known him and all of us came out to support him because of his goodwill to the people even before he thought of becoming a politician, he is here to serve the people he has been serving and we are proud of him“. Hon Archibong charged the campaign team to remain focus and not to be distracted by stories made around the town.
The inauguration had in attendance Traditional leaders, Present and past councilors, Political leaders from the ward and chapters, community leaders, Youth leaders, family and friends who also assured the incoming MP of their unalloyed support and loyalty to the movement.
