A social media influencer and business owner, Nenye Uzowulu, has publicly raised an alarm over an alleged fraud involving a man identified as Felix Etim Ene, following an unsuccessful attempt to recover her husband’s stolen belongings.
According to Nenye, the incident began after she made a social media post seeking assistance following a robbery attack on her husband in Enugu. She explained that the robbers allegedly made away with valuable items, including a laptop, mobile phone, and other personal belongings.
Speaking with Calabargist on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, Nenye alleged that Felix Etim Ene contacted her, claiming to be an expert in tracking stolen devices and recovering lost items. She said he requested a payment of ₦20,000 to commence the tracking process.
Nenye stated that after transferring the requested ₦20,000, Felix allegedly blocked all communication channels, making it impossible for her to reach him. She added that, as of the time of filing this report, she has neither received the promised service nor any refund.
Expressing disappointment over the incident, Nenye said she intends to pursue other legal and appropriate channels to ensure the matter is thoroughly investigated and that anyone found culpable is held accountable.
As of the time of this publication, Felix Etim Ene has not publicly responded to the allegations, and the claims remain unverified. Calabargist has not independently confirmed the allegations and will update this report should his response become available.
