Kwara State University Student, Olayimika Olaiya, Awarded Prestigious Scholarship to Study Blockchain in Switzerland

Olayimika Olaiya, a talented student from Kwara State University, has been selected as a finalist in the last edition of DecaHack, a prestigious hackathon organized by ICP Internet Computer Protocol Hub Nigeria. This outstanding achievement has earned Olaiya a scholarship to study blockchain at the University of Zurich Blockchain Center, one of the world\’s top three blockchain education hubs.
The DecaHack hackathon is a rigorous three-phase event designed to identify and nurture top talent in blockchain development. The first phase involves a campus tour to engage passionate students from various universities, followed by a virtual bootcamp where participants receive intensive training and mentorship from industry experts. The final phase is a pitch fest where participants present their innovative blockchain solutions to a panel of judges.
