Mr Asuquo Ekpenyong Jnr, Former Commissioner of Finance in Cross River State, declares interest to contest the 2023 Cross River State governorship race.
He made the declaration before the leaders, elders, and critical stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress, APC at Channel View Hotel, Calabar.
In his address, he stated that his administration will: Synchronize the policy framework of the past administrations, and articulate a master plan therefrom to which he will use to build a stronger economy that will cater for the needs and aspirations of our young and unemployed population, farmers, artesians, business men and women, etc.
Mr. Asuquo Ekpenyong Jnr, used the occasion to promise party men and women that “The unity of our party is key in making any impact in the coming election. I’ll ensure that every gap in relationship among our party members is closed.”
He also assured the electorate that their votes for him at the coming election will not be taken for granted.
Among those present at event are Ntufam John Okon, Amb Dr. Nya Asuquo, Elder P J Ekunke, Chief Ernest Irek, Hon Peter Odey, Chief Sam Bassey and Chief Tony Undiadeye.
