Written by Mary Bassey

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced the date for the passing out of the 2025 Batch ‘B’ Stream II corps members.

According to the NYSC, the corps members will officially pass out from the national service on Thursday, September 3, 2026.

The announcement was contained in a statement issued by the NYSC Director, Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu, on Monday through the scheme’s official communication channel.

The scheme urged all affected corps members, employers and other stakeholders to take note of the scheduled date.

“All Corps Members, Employers and other stakeholders of the Scheme are enjoined to take note of the date,” the statement said.

The NYSC further disclosed that Certificates of National Service will be distributed to the corps members at the Local Government level on the scheduled passing-out date.

The announcement marks the completion of the mandatory national service programme for members of the 2025 Batch ‘B’ Stream II set.

Corps members are therefore expected to liaise with the appropriate NYSC officials for information regarding the collection of their certificates and other arrangements ahead of the passing-out exercise.

The NYSC advised all relevant stakeholders to take note of the date and make the necessary preparations.
