Public Notice from the Hon. commissioner for Health Dr. Henry Ayuk

Early this week the HCH, Dr Henry Egbe Ayuk received intelligence reports of some intruders who have ‘strayed’ into a piece of land designated for General Hospital, Obudu along Kilometer 5 Obudu -Ogoja highway and immediately visited the site for confirmation.

Upon his return to Calabar, the Public Health Physician summoned the Director Administration to his office and handed him the instructions to initiate appropriate action that would bring the situation to normal, including the need to unravel the circumstances leading to some locals along the hospital corridors encroaching into Government land.

As part of the brief before the Administration Department, a team was despatched directly from headquarters to do the needful, after an initial difficulty in trying to get a team at GH, Obanliku to stand in for purposes of saving cost

Throughout the visit to the place, the locals/ intruders were told that all land related transactions in respect of the aforementioned land are being carried out at owners peril; KEEP OFF or have yourself to blame.

Although we only planted a Public Notice at the site ( not ‘ surveillance cameras ‘) , we are however certain of tracking any unusual dealings, hereafter
