RT. HON. HILARY BISONG MESSAGE TO HIS CONSTITUENTS ON BOKI NEW YAM CELEBRATION

SAYS GOD HAS BEEN GRACIOUS TO HIM, BOKI NATION

The Member Representing Boki 2 State Constituency and Chief Whip of the Cross River House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Hilary Ekpang Bisong, has sent out heartfelt felicitations to constituents and the entire Boki Nation, on the occasion of the THANKSGIVING AND NEW YAM FESTIVAL CELEBRATION.

Rt. Hon. Hilary who expressed gratitude to God for his unceasing blessings, said God is the ultimate giver. In his Goodwill message, the MP described Boki as a biblical Land, flowing with milk and honey.

Fellow citizens of Boki, today again we celebrate one of the events in the history of our brotherhood, the BOKI NEW YAM NEW YAM FESTIVAL, a cultural heritage that has transcended centuries.

The essence of this celebration is anchored on unity and Peace, with our forefathers handed over to us and we owe it a duty to maintain the foundations of our patrilineal existence in cordiality, amity and unity. I hereby charge you to continue to live in peace. Boki is like the biblical Land flowing with milk and honey

On the essence of the Thanksgiving Mass, the MP said God has been gracious to him, his family and entire Boki community.

By way of giving back to my fatherland and to God who makes all things beautiful at his time, I have decided to use this auspicious celebration to thank God the giver of life with the Thanksgiving Mass, for God has been gracious to me and to us all. I invite you to o actively participate.

Rt. Hon. Hilary further pledged unfettered representation to the people, with a promise to bring home the dividends of democracy.

Let me use this opportunity to thank you all, for your support and confidence reposed in me to represent you for the third time in the Cross River House of Assembly.
