This is an event that have in attendance top educational leaders in the state accompanied with award presentation.
The Cross River State College of Nursing and Midwifery science Itigidi Abi LGA,Student Union Government, led by Tomipiriya Briggs unveiled the SUG calendar which is the first of its kind in the history of CONMSIT.
During the event lots of activities took place, the Executive provost,political leaders, religious leaders and other top NGO’s where given opportunity to talk to the CONMSIT
One of the guest speakers Sir, Chief Aji E. Elko KSJi speakiing at the event as our guest speaker. He Admonished the students in character and in learning. To uphold our noble profession to the standard it should be. And involved in leadership, and entrepreneurship training and also take part in political activities in the college. That there is more to nursing. Only if you are determined to be great. The sky will be your starting point.
Dr. Idim John collins, the founder of JC foundation Encourages the student nurses to partake in businesses, NGO participation, entrepreneurship skills, and political activities. He stated that he was once a student and shared his story of success to encourage them in their futuristic plan.
He said they should
Create healthy habits, not restrictions.
“Take care of their body. It’s the only place you have to live.”
“Healthy is an outfit that looks different on everybody.”
“He who has health has hope and he who has hope has everything.
“Let’s build wellness rather than treat disease.”
And also thanked the SUG president for acknowledging him in gracing the event.
The awardees at the event where given to students and staff of the college to be mentioned Are Mr and Mrs Conmsit, director of environment, Vice president, Treasurer, miss culture, Provost marshall, director of welfare 2 and others, also in attendance is Ma. Veronica Kumar HOD Clinical,Mrs Ottoh HOD Nursing, HOD Public Health Ma Rita Osim.

The SUG President Tomipiriya Briggs and her Executives thank the provost and management staff of the college for giving them this great opportunity to learn and to be taught the greatness of life. By giving back to society at large. They made the occasion a learning ground for everyone who was in attendance.
The president Tomipiriya Briggs thanked the Cross River state governments for their concern and urged that they should also look out for the welfare of these colleges of nursing and midwifery sciences in Cross river State.
