Tottenham Agree Deal to Sign Marcos Senesi on Free Transfer

Tottenham Hotspur have reached an agreement to sign defender Marcos Senesi on a free transfer from Bournemouth, with the deal now considered complete.

The Argentine centre-back is set to join Spurs on a four-year contract after accepting all terms offered by the North London club. The agreement is expected to be formally signed in the coming days.

Senesi will become Tottenham’s second major signing of the summer transfer window following the arrival of Andy Robertson from Liverpool, as Spurs continue to strengthen their squad ahead of the new campaign.

The 29-year-old has impressed during his time at Bournemouth with his composure in possession, strong defensive qualities, and leadership at the back. Tottenham moved quickly to secure the defender once it became clear he would be available as a free agent.

Club officials are understood to be delighted with the deal, viewing Senesi as an experienced addition who can add depth and quality to the defensive unit.

New Tottenham management have prioritized reinforcing key areas of the squad this summer, and the signing of Senesi reflects the club’s ambition to compete strongly both domestically and in Europe next season.

Supporters are now eagerly awaiting the official announcement, with medical procedures and final paperwork expected to be completed shortly.

Senesi’s arrival is expected to provide healthy competition in Tottenham’s defense while also bringing valuable Premier League experience to the squad.
