Ugep Main Market Fire: Senator-elect visits market, sympathises, donates to victims

Disturbed by the fire disaster on Friday night at Ugep Main Market, Rt. Hon. Eteng Jonah Williams, Speaker, Cross River State House of Assembly and Senator-elect, Central Senatorial District of Cross River State have visited the scene of the ugly and unfortunate incident to sympathise with the fire victims.

The Senator-elect who was at the scene this morning to commiserate with the victims, also brainstormed with the leaders of Yakurr to ruminate on the way forward.

After being taken around the market, Rt. Hon. Williams donated some amounts of money to the victims and promised to follow up on the incident for quick government intervention through the appropriate agencies.
