Unical Steps To Registering For Courses & Checking Of Results For All Students

It is expected of every bona fide student of the University of Calabar to register for courses in the respective discipline before a student is admitted. Registration is done at the beginning of every session. Any student who is not registered for a course should not expect to have any results at the end of the semester/session.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS FOR ONLINE REGISTRATION
OF COURSES:

  1. Payment of school charges.
  2. Scratch card from UNICAL Micro Finance Bank (only for returning students who had paid school charges but failed to register for academic sessions before the 2020/2021 session. Please note that from the 2020/2021 session scratch cards will not be required for registration of courses except for the set of students mentioned above).
  3. Scanned/electronic passport photograph of not more than 20kb size. Please note the following:

The website for registering and assessing results online is: HYPERLINK \”http://www.unical.edu.ng/\”

Access is granted to only those who pay school charges for each session. Every student is expected to pay the school charges and register for courses within one month of the resumption of the academic year. Late registration shall attract an additional fee of N5,000 and shall last for extra two weeks.

Students who do not register within 6 weeks of resumption shall forfeit their studentship for that session. It is required such students write to the University to indicate their interest to continue in the next session. Failure to do so within the session in question will have the student’s name dropped permanently from the program.

It is important to note that retrospective deferment shall not be entertained.

New students and final-year students are expected to pay 100% of the school charges. Other students who cannot afford to pay all the charges can pay an initial 60% of the school charges and the remaining 40% before the session ends.

You will not be able to register for a new session without clearing the indebtedness of the previous session.
