In a dazzling showcase of talent and poise, eight-year-old Bridget Jones has been crowned the winner of the 2nd edition of the Miss Cross River International 2024 Pageantry. The event, organized by Amolife Entertainment (comprising Sophia Ogar Davids, Azuka Inyang, and Kelvin Essien), is designed for children aged 7-13 and aims to celebrate the emergence of Little Miss Cross River International.
Held in Calabar, Bridget outshone 13 other contestants after several competitive rounds, judged on criteria such as voting (40%), stage performance (10%), question and answer (20%), charisma (10%), catwalks (10%), and dance (10%). As the most outstanding queen of the contest, she was awarded a cash prize of ₦200,000 and a laptop. She will also represent Cross River at the upcoming Little Miss Nigeria pageant in Abuja.
Other winners included the second runner-up, who received ₦150,000, the third runner-up with ₦100,000, and the fourth runner-up with ₦50,000, along with consolation prizes for the remaining contestants.

Bridget, a native of Akpabuyo Local Government Area and a primary four pupil of Anuty Sama International Day-care Nursery and Primary School, had previously won the title of Queen of her school.
The event was attended by notable dignitaries, including the President of the University of Calabar Students Union Government, Blessing Alims, members of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, parents, and other distinguished guests.
