COMMISSIONER FOR HOUSING JOINS GOVERNOR\’S WIFE FOR FLAG-OFF OF FREE MEDICAL OUTREACH.

In a remarkable demonstration of the commitment to the well-being of the people, the Commissioner for Housing, Cross River State, Hon. Dr. Beatrice Igwe, today joined Her Excellency, Rev. Eyoanwan Otu, the wife of the Governor Of Cross River State for the flag-off of a free medical outreach.

Cross River State, known for its scenic beauty and cultural richness, has long been dedicated to improving the quality of life for its citizens. The \”People\’s First\” agenda, spearheaded by Rev. Eyoanwan Otu, prioritizes the well-being of the people, making healthcare a fundamental pillar of development.

The Free Medical Outreach Program is a significant step towards ensuring that every resident of Cross River State has access to basic healthcare services.

The program encompasses a wide range of medical services, including general check-ups, immunizations, maternal and child health services, as well as treatment for common ailments. The goal is to reach the underserved and remote communities that may lack easy access to healthcare facilities. By taking these services directly to the grassroots level, the government aims to reduce health disparities and promote a healthier population.
