C’RIVER STATE MINISTRY OF COMMERCE FELICITATES HIS EXCELLENCY, SENATOR, NTUFAM PRINCE BASSEY EDET OTU ON HIS HUNDRED DAYS IN OFFICE.

Our dear Governor, Senator(Prince) Bassey Otu, it is worthwhile to say that you started on a good note, and should be celebrated and cheered up on the occasion of your first 100 Days in office as Executive Governor of Cross River State.

In less than 100 Days, your administration has recorded remarkable achievements; accorded high premium to the welfare and well-being of civil servants and retirees, and also set machinery in motion for the much desired people – oriented governance as encapsulated in the \” People First\” mantra of your administration.

Improvement of infrastructures and enhancement of the aesthetics of Calabar, the Capital City, and other parts of the state, are testament to your visionary leadership.

Women empowerment and inclusion in governance and politics, healthcare delivery, social welfare, accountability and transparency in governance, alleviation and elevation of lives and livelihoods, and many more, are giant strides of your people focused government.

These early achievements, in addition to the zeal and patriotism showcased by your administration, within this short period, constitute a beacon of hope for better days ahead. This is in line with the aura of optimism that followed your divine enthronement, and Cross Riverians are hopeful to reap good governance and prosperity.

While praying God to protect and guide you and your administration\’s mission to improve the fortune of the people through the prosperity policy thrust, l reiterate my commitment to the realization of the philosophy, vision and mission of your government.

Congratulations, your Excellency, and best wishes.

Hon.(Mrs) Abigail Duke Orok, JP
Commissioner for Commerce, Cross River State.
