The Honorable Commissioner for Human Capital and Entrepreneurial Development, Kingsley Egumi welcomes the Armed Forces Command and Staff College(AFSC) on their Nigeria Study Tour in Cross River State at the ministry conference room, New Secretariat Complex, Calabar.
The purpose of the visit was in line with the College curricula of having a Nigeria study tour with selected Ministries in various States of the Nation, with the sole aim of combating security issues.
In his keynote address, the Honorable Commissioner commended the Armed Forces, especially for their professionalism and greater contribution to Society, He emphasizes the need and importance of security in the country and assures much collaboration in achieving this feat.
‘’One of the challenges we face is having a good number of idle youth in our State, and just as the famous proverb will say an idle man is a devil\’s workshop, that is why H.E Prince Otucreated this new ministry to engage our youths with the needed resources, training, and skills in a bid to make them more productive, and this will bring stability on various security issues in the State.”
Highlight of the tour were the presentation of the Award to Hon. Kingsley Egumi, in attendance was the Honourable Commissioner for Wealth creation, Patrick Egbede, NYCN-CRS Chairman, Comr Daniel Obo, and others.
