Reputable Nollywood actress, content creator and influence Ms Stephanie Isuma, popularly know as Calabar Chic has commended Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno for bringing succour to the family of the late Nollywood Make-up Artist, Ms Abigail Edith Frederick, saying it’s is the true essence of leadership and love for the people.
The Cross River State born multi talented entertainer and founder of Project “Pad_our_girls” Initiative, during her short trip to Uyo via sea transport, commended the owners of Sea Express Transit for their efficient services, making her trip safe with provision of life jacket and a comfortable jetty.
She had earlier stopped in Calabar, the Cross River State Capital where she held talks with officials of the ministry of Culture and Tourism to bring to fruition the People First Agenda of the Governor, Sen Prince Bassey Otu on restoring Calabar to it’s former glory on entertainment with the bid to taking it to global reckoning.
The iconic Calabar Chic left Calabar for Uyo through the sea via Sea Express Transit, a reputable water transportation outfit.
Speaking further on her stay in Uyo, she applauded the management of Ibom Icon Hotel for their quality services embedded in a serene environment and cosy rooms with lively staffers.
The skit maker and social commentator whose very versatile & creative ingenuity has kept her on the minds of many Nigerians, has also expressed her profound appreciations to the management of Ibom Air, as the flight of first choice she boarded from Uyo to Lagos, saying the flight was pleasantly smooth.
While chatting with the Akwa Ibom State Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Sir Charles Udoh, the widely known Calabar Chic, Ms Isuma extended her warm wishes and appreciations to the State Governor for his kindness and compassion to the people.
Speaking further about the recent boat mishap that claimed the lives of popular Nollywood actor, Junior Pope and some crew members, appeal to film producers to ensure that safety comes first as they go about production.
She expressed her deepest condolences to the families of Junior Pope, Abigail and others who lost their lives during the recent boat mishap and urged film producers to provide good welfare package for the crew, make sure they are well fed and ensure they are safe before, during and after production.
It would be recalled that the well known Calabar Chic started making short funny videos on instagram after she Shared her first 15secs video which went viral is 2016 amassing a lot of following on social media.
She have been involved in standup comedy shows, including Shakara and The Gang and the AY Show, alongside her funny content posts on her social media pages Also Recognized, an Ambassador of Sports and Cinematography in Cross River State.
