I celebrate with Nigerian Christians and others across the world on this year’s Easter, a moment of sober reflection on the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Easter reminds us of the boundless love of God who offered His Son Jesus Christ for our salvation. The death and resurrection of Jesus Christ remain the greatest symbols of sacrifice, love, and redemption.
As we celebrate, let us imbibe the lessons of Easter – love, sacrifice, selflessness, forgiveness, and compassion. These values are essential in building a more united, peaceful, and prosperous society.
