Nigerian Institute of Public Relations Cross River State Chapter(NIPR-CRS) has concluded arrangements to hold her Annual Children\’s Day with NIPR on Thursday, 16th June, 2022 at the University of Calabar Senate Chambers at 9am prompt.

Under the Chairmanship of the Special Adviser to the State Government on Quality Education, Mr. Castro Ezama, the Children\’s Day with Nigerian Institute of Public Relations progrmme is earmarked to celebrate children and espouse them to career guidance early enough with particular target on Secondary School Students in SS1 and SS11 classes drawn from schools in the Calabar Municipality,Calabar South,Akoabuyo,Akamkpa and Odukoani Local Government Areas of Cross River State.

With the theme as \”Choosing a career in our challenging times,\” the 2022 edition of the programme will be handled by Dr Benedict Ejikeme Odigbo,Head of Department of Marketing,University of Calabar and it is expected to attract over three Hundred student participants from twenty five secondary schools in the State as well as members of Nigerian Institute of Public Relations in the chapter.

This year\’s programme started on the 9th of June,2022 with essay writing competition on the topic; \” Insecurity in Nigerian Schools: the Way Forward\”with twelve secondary Schools in the Competition while winners will be announced at the June 16,2022 showpiece which will feature award of prizes and presentation of certificates.
