Residents of Bekwarra Local Government Area will tomorrow benefit from a Free Hepatitis B Testing and Screening Exercise sponsored by Chief Dr. Martha Agba, Onyiritem 1 of Bekwarra.
The medical outreach will hold on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, by 9:30 a.m. at Abuochiche Junction, and is open to persons 15 years and above.
The initiative, organised under the WHEN Initiative in collaboration with health partners, aims to promote early detection, prevention, and awareness of Hepatitis B.
The programme also enjoys the support of the Office of the First Lady of Cross River State, Bishop Mrs. Eyoanwan Bassey Otu.
Residents are encouraged to come out in large numbers to get tested and receive free medical counselling.
