Paris FC Appoint New Coach Ahead of Ligue 1 Season

Written by Mary Bassey

Liam Rosenior has been appointed as the new head coach of Paris FC, where Moses Simon is expected to feature following his recent move to the French club.

The Ligue 1 side announced Rosenior’s appointment on Tuesday, confirming that the English manager has signed a contract that will keep him at the club until 2028.

Rosenior arrives with a growing reputation after impressive spells in English football, particularly with Hull City, where he was praised for his attractive, possession-based style of play. He previously worked in coaching roles at clubs including Chelsea’s academy and Strasbourg before taking up senior management.

His appointment comes as Paris FC prepare for the 2026/27 Ligue 1 campaign after securing promotion to the French top flight. The club is aiming to establish itself among France’s elite and strengthen its squad ahead of the new season.

The arrival of Rosenior also marks the beginning of a new chapter for Nigerian international Moses Simon, who recently joined Paris FC and is expected to play a key role in the club’s ambitions this season.

With a long-term contract in place, Paris FC will hope Rosenior can build a competitive team capable of maintaining its Ligue 1 status and challenging for higher positions in the years ahead.
