Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has declared that the state will deliver overwhelming support for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid in the 2027 presidential election.
The governor said Ondo had already thrown its weight behind Tinubu’s second-term ambition, expressing confidence that residents of the Sunshine State would vote massively for the President when Nigerians head to the polls in 2027.
Aiyedatiwa made the declaration on Tuesday in Akure, the Ondo State capital, during the distribution of food items and relief materials to vulnerable residents under the Renewed Hope Initiative Social Investment Programme Food Outreach Scheme.
According to the governor, the endorsement reflects the confidence of the people of Ondo State in Tinubu’s leadership and the administration’s ongoing economic and social intervention programmes.
He also commended the Renewed Hope Initiative, championed by the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, for complementing the Federal Government’s efforts to support vulnerable Nigerians through humanitarian and social investment initiatives.
The Renewed Hope Initiative Food Outreach Scheme is designed to provide food assistance and other relief materials to vulnerable households across the country as part of broader efforts to cushion the impact of economic challenges.
