# Liverpool Agree €35m Deal to Sign Belgian Goalkeeping Talent Lucca Brughmans

Liverpool have reportedly reached a verbal agreement to sign highly-rated Belgian goalkeeper Lucca Brughmans from Genk in a deal worth €35 million.

The 18-year-old goalkeeper is regarded as one of Belgium’s most promising young talents, and Liverpool have moved quickly to secure his future. The agreement is understood to include a €35m total package, with Brughmans expected to join the Reds in the summer of 2027.

Liverpool have already received authorization for Brughmans to undergo his medical, another major step towards completing the transfer. However, formal procedures and documentation between the clubs are still expected to follow before the deal can be officially completed.

A verbal agreement is currently in place between Liverpool and Genk, with the Premier League club confident of bringing the young goalkeeper to Anfield.

Brughmans’ arrival would underline Liverpool’s long-term strategy of investing in emerging talent. At just 18, the Belgian goalkeeper has already attracted significant attention, and The Reds see him as a player capable of developing into an important figure for the club in the future.

The Reds are now expected to work through the remaining formalities before Brughmans’ eventual move to England in 2027.
