The National Examinations Council (NECO) is set to release the results of the 2026 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) Internal on Thursday, September 24, 2026.
According to a circular cited in reports on Tuesday, the results will be officially announced at 11am at the NECO headquarters on Km 8, Bida Road, Minna, Niger State.
The development comes after the council’s 2026 SSCE Internal Award Committee meeting, which was presided over by the Registrar and Chief Executive of NECO, Professor Dantani Wushishi, at the council’s headquarters in Minna.
The 2026 SSCE Internal was conducted for school candidates, with NECO’s official registration guidelines confirming that the examination is the council’s Senior School Certificate Examination for internal candidates.
Candidates are expected to be able to access their results through NECO’s official results portal after the results are released. The portal requires candidates to select the examination year and examination type, then enter their result token and registration number before checking their results.
The announcement is expected to bring an end to the wait for thousands of candidates, parents and schools seeking the outcome of the 2026 examination.
Candidates are advised to rely on NECO’s official platforms for the result release and avoid unverified websites or social media claims.
