The Nigerian Army College of Logistics and Management (NACOLM), Ojo, Lagos, has warned members of the public to disregard an online advertisement promoting a purported international research conference allegedly scheduled to take place at the institution.
The advertisement, which promotes a programme tagged “Highstone Global University USA International Research Conference,” was described by the college as false and fraudulent.
In a statement dated September 22, 2026, NACOLM’s Public Relations Officer, Major Innocent Audu, said the college had no affiliation, partnership, endorsement or involvement with the purported programme.
Audu also stated that NACOLM had not authorised the conference to take place at its premises.
The college consequently urged Nigerians not to make payments or disclose personal information in connection with the advertised programme.
According to NACOLM, any legitimate event involving the institution would be communicated through its recognised official channels and those of the Nigerian Army.
The college further advised members of the public to verify information concerning programmes purportedly linked to NACOLM before responding to such advertisements.
It also encouraged anyone who comes across suspicious solicitations connected to the purported conference to report them to the appropriate authorities.
The warning followed the circulation of the online advertisement, which allegedly presented the Army College as the venue for the proposed conference.
