2027: Danjuma Makes Fresh Appeal to Nigerians Over Tinubu

Written by Mary Bassey

Former Minister of Defence, General Theophilus Danjuma (retd.), has reportedly urged Nigerians to re-elect President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general election, arguing that one presidential term may not be enough to complete ongoing projects and consolidate the administration’s achievements.

Danjuma reportedly made the appeal while expressing support for continuity in government, stressing that Tinubu should be given another four years to complete projects and programmes already initiated by his administration.

According to the statement attributed to him, the former defence minister believes that a second term would provide the president with more time to sustain ongoing development efforts and pursue his administration’s long-term plans.

The reported endorsement comes as political activities and discussions surrounding the 2027 presidential election continue to gather momentum.

However, the claim and circumstances surrounding Danjuma’s reported remarks should be independently verified before publication.
