Written by Mary Bassey

The Neuropsychiatric Hospital, Aro, Abeokuta, Ogun State, has indefinitely suspended academic activities at its School of Post-Basic Psychiatric Nursing following the death of a student, Godwin Ayodeji Taiwo.

The decision means that academic activities at the institution’s specialised nursing school have been put on hold indefinitely following the student’s demise.

However, details surrounding the circumstances of Taiwo’s death and the reason for the suspension have not been independently confirmed in the information available.

Further information is expected to clarify the circumstances surrounding the incident and whether the hospital management will announce additional measures or provide a timeline for the resumption of academic activities.
