Cross River State Hosts Coffee Festival International Nigeria, Promotes Sustainable Coffee Industry

Written by Mary Bassey

Cross River State has hosted the Coffee Festival International Nigeria, an event aimed at promoting sustainability, investment and growth in the country’s coffee industry.

The festival, held at the University of Calabar (UNICAL), was themed “Sustainability: Building the Future of Coffee in Nigeria.” It was convened by CFIN through Mrs Blessing Nanman Tangtur, Chief Executive Officer of LINGZHI GLOBAL NIGERIA LIMITED, popularly known as the Apostle of Wealth.

Speaking at the event, Mrs Tangtur explained that bringing the international festival to Cross River State was about more than organising an event, stressing the need to encourage investment and create opportunities that would benefit both the present and future generations.

She noted that the initiative was also designed to provide a platform for Nigerians to celebrate their identity, uniqueness, talents and God-given abilities while exploring opportunities for economic growth.

According to her, sustainability involves creating lasting opportunities and investing in initiatives that will positively impact future generations.

The festival also brought attention to the business and economic opportunities within Nigeria’s coffee industry, providing a platform for exhibitors and entrepreneurs to showcase their products, connect with stakeholders and explore potential partnerships.
