The attention of Student Affairs Division has been drawn to the exhortation of huge sums of money from unsuspecting aspirants for the forthcoming SUG elections by unscrupulous elements in the name of facilitating their victory at the polls.
Among these unscrupulous elements, sadly, as it has been brought to our notice, are former student leaders masquerading as representatives of the Division in their unwholesome and regrettable acts of criminal exploitation, impunity and deceit. Student Affairs has absolutely nothing to do with these persons or any other set of persons demanding for money from aspirants. The Division will ensure that they are brought to book.
No aspirant should make himself/herself a ready prey in the hands of these desperate predators who would soon be facing their Waterloo.
Meanwhile, the activities of these free radicals are being monitored, and they would be reined in soon. Aspirants who identify with them in any way do so at their own risk, and may go down with them, too.
A word is enough is enough for the wise. Flee from the wrath to come.
