Dr. (Mrs.) Mary Mark Ogbeche was born on 18th September, 1985. She hails from Ishibori Community, in Ogoja Local Government Area, Cross River State, Nigeria. Raised in a humble family background, she developed strong values of responsibility, resilience, and service to humanity.

Educational Background
Dr. (Mrs.) Mary Mark Ogbeche began her educational journey at Army Primary School I, Barracks Road, Calabar, where she obtained the First School Leaving Certificate.
She proceeded to Holy Child Secondary School,
Calabar, earning the West African Senior School Certificate (WASSCE/NECO).
Driven by her passion for knowledge and excellence, she attended the University of Calabar, Calabar, where she obtained a Diploma in Personnel Management, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Policy Studies and Administration. She further advanced her education by obtaining a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE), Master of Education in
Educational Management (M.Ed), and Ph.D in Educational Management.
To her credit, she has also obtained other professional certificates.

Professional Career
Dr. (Mrs.) Mary Mark Ogbeche is a seasoned lecturer with over nine (9) years of experience in the field of Educational Management at the University of Calabar. She spent eleven (11) years working as a classroom teacher with the Cross River State Secondary Education Board. She has contributed immensely to teaching, research, community service, mentoring, project supervision, leadership, and administrative roles.
Through her professional career, she has acquired significant expertise in human development, capacity building and leadership, problem-solving, and, policy making.

Leadership and Political Experience
Dr. (Mrs.) Mary Mark Ogbeche actively participates in grassroots mobilization and leadership.
She has held a number of positions such as financial secretary in the Faculty of Education conference with the University of Calabar, Financial Secretary – Who-is-Who forum in Northern Cross River.
She is currently the departmental welfare chairperson as well as the welfare officer for the Cross River state chapter of the South-South APC Support Group Leadership Caucus.

Community/Political involvement
Dr. Mary Mark is actively involved in grassroots political engagement through community/campaign mobilization, voter education, and participation in local policy discussion with a focus on promoting voters’ participation and civil responsibility.
