Fuji music icon Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, popularly known as KWAM 1 or K1 De Ultimate, has sparked fresh reactions online after a video captured him performing a song that referenced an “unnecessary pregnancy,” a remark many social media users linked to the recent paternity allegations against him.
The performance comes days after Ogechi Eleana publicly accused the veteran singer of abandoning her and their 12-year-old daughter, Azeezat, despite allegedly promising to take responsibility for the child.
The controversy gained widespread attention following a viral interview Eleana granted to Feel Right TV, where she narrated her version of events and appealed to the singer to acknowledge and support the child.
According to Eleana, she met KWAM 1 while working as his manicurist and pedicurist. The Lagos State University graduate claimed their professional relationship later became romantic, resulting in the birth of their daughter.
While performing at a recent event, KWAM 1 was seen singing lyrics that mentioned “unnecessary pregnancy.” Although the singer did not directly mention Eleana or the paternity allegation, the timing of the performance has fueled speculation, with many social media users interpreting the lyrics as a subtle response to the ongoing controversy.
The viral clip has since generated mixed reactions online, with some defending the Fuji star and insisting the lyrics should not be linked to the allegations, while others believe the performance has further intensified public interest in the matter.
As of the time of filing this report, KWAM 1 has not issued an official statement addressing Eleana’s claims or the widespread reactions to the viral performance.
