In line with the spirit to sportsmanship and togetherness, the PDP house of representatives candidate for AKAMKPA/BIASE federal Constituency, Hon Austin Aidam has said that he has killed an elephant and that it now behoves on every party member in Akamkpa/Biase to carry his or her cutlass to take a fair share.
The candidate made the statement while addressing members of team Tony, the people of Obung community and PDP family members who were at the country home of the Queen of Netim Kingdom, Queen Theresa Godwin Ogar.
Hon Austine Aidam began by expressing enourmous Joy to be addressing the people in the land of his birth and that getting the invitation to attend the burial of Ntufam Enoh\’s wife at Obung was indeed divine.
Continuing, He added that his Late mother would be happy that her son finally came home.
While thanking the Queen, Hon Austin said when he entered the compound he noticed that there was a church in the premises and prayed that by the time he will be back to Obung, God would have answered his prayers as the church will offer him to opportunity to pray for reconciliation which he believes will come to pass by then.
According to Hon Austine, his greatest wish is that every man and woman of Akamkpa extraction, especially those from Constituency 1 will be united as one PDP family that will become a strong indivisible family given that the battle in the forth coming general elections won\’t be an easy one
In whatever we do we must ensure we deliver PDP in all positions from HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY to PRESIDENCY he stated
He assured the people of Obung community that whatever the PDP has done in the community likewise Rt Hon Daniel Asuquo aka Dansuki would be sustained and will be a line he will continue to toe when he emerges in 2023 as his mandate is coming from an upshot to continue and compliment on the gains already on ground.
In furtherance, He ( Austine Aidam) reminded the young people that they will surely be carried along in the scheme of things while admonishing them to put in their best for the party (PDP)
He maintained that PDP has what it takes to win and by the grace of God the party shall emerge victorious
